We’re going to the Vet Dynamics Conference 2021!
We’re very excited to announce that the VisioCare Services team will be at the Vet Dynamics Conference on Friday 24th September 2021!
The Vet Dynamics Conference is a CPD and celebratory event exclusively for independent veterinary practices. We’ll be there to meet with some fantastic vets and show them how VisioCare can revolutionise their practices. The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Rebuild: A Toolkit to Regenerate the Veterinary World’ and there will be a focus on demonstrating a comprehensive and compassionate awareness of the global veterinary climate.
To compliment the Rebuild theme, the Keynote Speaker has been announced as Paralympic and World Championship Gold Medallist, Dr Karen Darke MBE. Karen started working life as a geologist in the Bolivian Andes, researching gold, but a life-changing accident left her paralysed from the chest down. She moved away from being a ‘rock-doctor’ to find ways to align mind, body and spirit to do extraordinary things.
Karen’s inspirational journey and message fits perfectly with the Rebuild theme. Her speech will provide delegates with the motivation to improve presence, performance, and well-being – subjects at the fore of our minds this year. We can’t wait to hear her!

“It’s been a tough year for everyone, and I’m acutely aware of the particular struggles and isolation of our independent practices who have worked tirelessly and had to make tough decisions to get through these challenging months.
I’m hearing stories of burnout, fatigue, and dis-engagement in practice teams and across our profession. It would seem we have ‘fallen off a cliff’.
Courage, proactivity, accountability, and resilience will see us rebuild this profession from the bottom up. Karen’s personal story and her outlook in life epitomises these attributes – that ability to open the curtains every morning and face the world, whatever it offers – take what you have been dealt and make the world a better place.”
Whilst there are many veterinary social and CPD events throughout the year, the Vet Dynamics Conference remains the only space dedicated to and exclusively for independents. This years’ Conference promises to see the independent community reuniting, rebuilding, and making positive strides toward a healthy, sustainable veterinary life and business.
The 2021 Vet Dynamics Conference will address four pressing issues facing practice leaders today:
- Rejuvenating ourselves and the business model
- Re-engaging our teams and clients
- Rebooting the system with a ‘digital first’ strategy
- Renewing the Planet, one practice at a time
It’s being held at the Oxford Belfry on Friday 24th September, with virtual attendees able to tune in and interact with live content throughout the day.
