We really do treat our dogs as part of the family and so why not treat them to a special birthday gift – we know you will anyway. However, the key is to think about what they would love, rather than what you would love them to have! So, a new collar is a great idea, but they don’t care what collar they are wearing!

With that in mind, why not give our ideas a try –

A puppy party, with all their best doggy friends. Hire a field or book a doggy day care space. Invite all your pup’s besties and let them have some playtime. Dogs live for socialising and exercise. Your pup would love this!

A trip to your local independent pet shop, with all those amazing smells and treats is a real treat for your pup! Give them some freedom to choose what they would like. Let them have a sniff around, the staff will probably make a fuss and give them a treat too (remember to ask them for a ‘sit’ before they get their treat) and buy them a big tasty pupsnack or toy.

Book in for a new training class, for example a sniffer dog class, or agility session. There are loads of incredible fun training classes, suitable for all breeds and ages and your pup loves nothing more than spending quality time with you.

Finally, subscribe to a doggy treat box – such as Doggy Treat Box – The World’s Favourite Monthly Dog Treat Box delivered monthly and packed with treats that your pup will LOVE, plus opening the box is super fun too!
